A Sydney-based banking client is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a 6-month contract.

About the Role
n Reporting to the Executive Manager Operations, you'll oversee the day-to-day supervision of settlement transaction processing across Retail/Cards, Treasury and Payments. This includes team supervision, workload management, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and support a team processing settlement transactions across multiple product types
n
Ensure accurate, timely processing in line with internal SLAs and industry deadlines
n
Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures
n
Support the bank's operational risk management framework, including issue identification, escalation and root cause analysis
n
Provide coaching and day-to-day guidance to direct reports
n

About You
n

Minimum 5 years' banking experience, including
settlements/operations
n
Exposure to Treasury and/or SWIFT processing preferred
n
Solid attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
n
