Key responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of parts and subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings and bills of materials (BOMs)
Build and install cable harnesses/looms and perform wiring on products and control panels
Terminate, crimp and solder wires and connectors accurately and reliably
Execute functional and electrical tests (continuity, insulation, High voltage tests) and document results
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings
Follow standard operating procedures, quality checklists and test protocols
Identify, troubleshoot and document assembly or wiring defects; support corrective actions
Maintain accurate production records and test data
Keep work area, tools and equipment clean and organized; perform basic preventative maintenance
Collaborate with engineering, quality and warehouse teams to support continuous improvement
About you
Vocational training or certificate in electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent trade qualification
Experience in mechanical assembly, cable harnessing/looming, wiring and electrical testing (manufacturing/production environment preferred)
Proficient in reading schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings
Experience with hand tools, crimping tools, soldering irons and basic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies)
Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610)
Advanced IT skills:



able to operate ERP systems and use Excel/industry test software efficiently
Good manual capability and ability to work with small components
Problem-solving orientation and ability to follow technical instructions
