Core Recovery is a growing recovery facility in Gateshead, Newcastle, built around helping everyday people, athletes and sporting teams recover better and perform at their best. We are based within Core Fitness Newcastle, giving our members, schools, and sporting teams access to a complete fitness and recovery experience all under one roof.
About the role
The main focus of this role is business development and sales. You'll be responsible for identifying and approaching local schools, sporting clubs, teams, coaches, athletes and businesses, building relationships and converting those conversations into regular bookings and memberships. You'll also help manage the day‐to‐day Recovery experience, making sure members and teams are looked after and the facility is presented to a high standard. You'll have plenty of freedom to bring your own ideas to the role and we're looking for someone who can take ownership and make things happen.
Key responsibilities
Identify and approach local schools, sporting clubs, teams, coaches, athletes and businesses
Build relationships and convert conversations into regular bookings and memberships
Generate new leads and follow up opportunities
Creating and scheduling social media content




Supporting members and help grow the Core Recovery brand
Assist with day‐to‐day operation of the facility, including bookings, member experience, and presentation
Actively seeking to create sales opportunities
About you
Confident and comfortable talking to current people
Naturally outgoing and relationship-focused
Proactive and motivated by sales and results
Comfortable picking up the phone, sending messages and walking into businesses or sporting clubs
Passionate about sport, fitness and recovery
Able to work independently and take ownership
Previous experience in sales and marketing in a fitness, recovery or sporting environment would be highly regarded
Ready to commence within 4 weeks
Part‐time position with flexible hours
Hourly rate plus commission on new membership sales
