Job Description
This role is to assist Unit Manager in managing the development, testing, management, and protection of source code for digital banking applications; leading UI/UX design for both existing and new applications; identifying and implementing solutions for application development; coordinating communication with internal and external stakeholders; and arrange meetings related to digital application development.

Main Duties
n
n
Monitor the software development cycle, including creation, testing, coordination, handover to product managers, deployment, and security enhancements across the entire software;
n
Ensure strict control and protection of the software source code, preventing unauthorized modification, copying, replacement, reproduction, or sharing;
n
Review and monitor existing software in phases to identify weaknesses, make improvements, and correct issues to enhance performance and provide an optimal user experience. This includes designing UX/UI for both new and legacy software to meet user needs;
n
Monitor software development tasks to ensure timely implementation and completion, while providing support to subordinate engineers or programmers in resolving issues during the development phase;
n
Create, and supervise development plans in collaboration with both internal and external partners, representing the internal development team;
n




Participate in cross-team meetings to ensure consistency in the development process and provide progress reports on the overall status and any issues to the management team;
n
Perform additional tasks/projects assigned by manager.

Skills/ Experiences
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related fields.
n
At least 3 years in digital Banking sector, management and software development fields.
n
Proficiency in programming Languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, etc.;
n
Experience with mobile app development platforms like iOS (Swift), Android (Java/Kotlin) or Hybrid App such as Flutter, React Native etc;
n
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Redux) and back-end frameworks (PHP, Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails);
n
Understanding of database systems like SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.;
n
Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for team-oriented development;
n
Testing and Debugging: Ability to write and execute test cases, debug code, and ensure software quality;
n
Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban for efficient project management;
n
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, JBoss for continuous integration and deployment.
