Our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Smithfield, is currently seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join their production team.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to candidates with proven upholstery experience in a manufacturing or commercial furniture environment. You will be responsible for upholstering office chairs and commercial furniture to a high standard using a variety of upholstery tools and techniques.
n
Location: Smithfield, NSW
n Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm
n Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour + Super
n Overtime Available | Temp to Permanent Opportunity

About the Role

Duties Include:
n
n
Upholstering office chairs and commercial furniture
n
Using hand staplers, upholstery tools and power tools
n
Cutting and preparing fabrics, foam and other materials using templates and patterns
n
Measuring,



fitting and securing upholstery materials
n
Completing quality inspections on finished products
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
n
Working as part of a team to meet production targets
n
n
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
n
n
Previous upholstery experience is essential
n
Experience upholstering commercial furniture, office chairs or similar products
n
Experience using hand staplers, upholstery tools and power tools
n
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
n
A reliable work ethic and positive attitude
n
Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment
n
n
