We are a
high volume
cake manufacturer looking for an experienced cake decorator/cake finisher to join our team.
Key responsibilities
Masking and decorating cakes
Measuring and mixing of ingredients
Following production/recipe sheets
Finishing and packaging of products
Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas
Other occasional tasks related to the role
About you
Excellent piping and cake masking skills -
decorating around 40 cakes per day
(this is not fine detailed work)
Creative in your field
Good communication and basic math skills
Robust team player
Ability to take direction
Ability to use your initiative
Self motivated and enthusiastic nature
Friendly personality
Ability to adapt to change
Fit and healthy individual - essential
Must be able to lift 15 kg
Valid work visa is essential
HACCP knowledge – highly regarded but not essential
Previous experience in a similar role within a pastry/cake kitchen will be an added advantage
