Join our caring and dedicated aged care team as a Support Worker, offering flexible work that fits your availability while helping our clients maintain their independence at home.
Summary:
Role:
Community Support Professional (Casual)
Where:
We support customers across Adelaide and aim to schedule your shifts within your local area, with no more than 25 minutes of driving.
Pay:
Rates start at $43 per hour including casual loading + penalties + superannuation.
Shifts:
Regular Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm

Duties and responsibilities include:




Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Provide updates on customer progress following each service
About you:
Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
What you will need:
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Criminal Record Check
Updated First Aid, CPR & Manual Handling Certificates
Current Driver's License
Reliable access to a roadworthy vehicle.
Smart phone with internet access
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, Disability Services or a related qualification is desirable but not essential.
