Safety & Human Resources Officer
to help strengthen our safety systems, support our people, and ensure our compliance remains at a high standard.

The Role
You will work closely with management, operations and our field teams across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage and maintain company WHS systems, policies and procedures
Ensure employee, plant and company documentation remains current and compliant
Manage site and client safety-platform requirements, inductions and documentation
Conduct workplace inspections, toolbox talks and safety audits
Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions and reporting
Monitor licences, tickets, training and competency requirements
Coordinate employee onboarding and inductions
Prepare employment documentation, contracts and employee records
Assist managers with performance management,



disciplinary matters and employee issues
Manage recruitment support and new-starter processes
Track employee training and development requirements
Assist with HR policies, procedures and general employee relations
Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting to management
Help build a strong culture of accountability, safety, respect and high performance
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in WHS, HR or a combined Safety/People role
Familiar with the construction, civil, transport or heavy-equipment industries
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident dealing with both employees and senior management
Comfortable holding people accountable when standards are not met
Able to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion
A strong communicator with practical problem-solving skills
Proactive rather than someone who waits to be told what needs doing
Experience with construction safety platforms, employee-management systems and compliance documentation will be highly regarded.
Relevant WHS and/or HR qualifications are preferred.
