Key responsibilities
This is a practical, people-focused role where you will coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple work sites, supervise Transfer Station Operators and ensure waste, recycling, transfer station and landfill services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You will be responsible for coordinating rosters, leave, training, timesheets, team meetings and day-to-day priorities, while supporting staff performance and development.
You will also work closely with contractors, Council staff, customers and community to maintain reliable service delivery and respond to operational issues as they arise.
What you need
To succeed in this role, you will bring: Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
What you need to Succeed We are looking for a supportive, organised and approachable leader who can communicate clearly, solve problems and build a positive team workplace.
Experience in waste management, administration, community service delivery or a similar operational environment would be highly regarded.
