We are a boutique private practice in Drummoyne, home to an experienced, professional and supportive team who work collaboratively to help individuals and families. We use evidence-based strategies to support our clients through their challenges and serve a wide range of clients from varying backgrounds and across the lifespan.

About the Role
We have an incredible opportunity for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with a special interest in eating disorders to join our team and be part of something special. This is a contract role offering a high level of autonomy, while still being part of a warm, collaborative and supportive team. The position offers great flexibility, with the opportunity to start slowly and build up to a level you're comfortable with. Some telehealth work is also available if desired.
Key Responsibilities




Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment for clients presenting with disordered eating and eating disorders (e.g. anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED), according to client need and your areas of interest
Work collaboratively with GPs, dietitians, paediatricians and other treating professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Support clients (and where relevant, their families) across the stages of recovery, including risk monitoring and safety planning as needed
Produce clinical letters and reports for referring partners
Maintain clinical notes
Be open to contributing to blogs and the practice's social media profile
Engage in team networking events and peer supervision
Continue to develop your clinical skills and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice
About You
You are someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and a proactive approach to your client work.
Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
Willingness/ability to obtain professional indemnity and public liability insurance
Experience working with eating disorders and/or disordered eating, with a special interest in continuing to grow this area of your practice
Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team model (GPs, dietitians, psychiatrists) and confident with risk assessment and management
Trained in, or willing to train in, evidence-based approaches such as CBT-E, Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Schema Therapy, and/or EMDR
Open to ongoing professional development and contributing ideas to the practice
