We are working with an insurance building and repair specialist with over 40 years' experience in the insurance industry. They are looking for a Building Estimator to join their team.

The role is ideal for someone who's looking to step into estimating from a Carpentry background.

The Role

Inspect residential and commercial properties to assess building damage
n
Prepare detailed scopes of work and accurate cost estimates
n
Compile causation and repair reports for insurers
n
Coordinate trades and oversee repairs through to completion
n
Maintain solid communication with clients, insurers, consultants, and subcontractors
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Trade qualified, ideally carpentry or construction experience
n
Hands-on understanding of residential and commercial building methods
n
Strong estimating and quoting skills (or keen to develop them)
n
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
n
Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
n
n
Salary $90K - $115K + Super + Car (depending on experience)
