This is an essential hire for a growing recruitment business which specialise in
Financial Services
.
The contract division has an established client base and is scaling quickly, and as that function grows, the operational and compliance demands are becoming an increasingly narrow bottleneck.
They're now looking for someone to take ownership of it.

Before contractors can begin an assignment, there can be a significant amount to coordinate around:
DBS checks
Right to work
References and background screening
Contractor documentation

Compliance checks
Contract extensions and renewals
Timesheets and payroll processes
Record keeping and audit trails
Ongoing contractor administration
The recruiters can win the work and find the candidate, but someone needs to make sure the operational side of each placement runs smoothly, efficiently and compliantly from start to finish.
As contractor numbers increase, this becomes a
business‐critical function
- helping the business onboard people quickly, maintain standards and continue growing without operational bottlenecks.
The Opportunity




You'll become a central point of contact across
operations, compliance and wider business support
.
Day to day, this could include:
Managing contractor onboarding and compliance
Completing DBS and right-to-work processes
Ensuring documentation and checks are completed correctly
Coordinating with consultants, candidates and clients
Maintaining accurate contractor records
Supporting extensions, renewals and ongoing administration
Improving internal processes as the contract division grows
Supporting wider office and business operations
This is broader than a traditional compliance role.
You'll work closely with senior leadership on
business improvement projects
, including how AI can be used internally to improve workflows, reduce repetitive administration and make the business more efficient.
There will also be opportunities to get involved with:
Company events
Internal projects
Business support
Office operations
Marketing and wider company initiatives
It's ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how a business works, improving processes and taking ownership beyond one narrow function.
Who They're Looking For
You'll ideally have
at least two years' experience in a front‐office or commercially focused working environment
,



with enough business experience to understand how different teams interact and what good operational support looks like.
Particularly relevant backgrounds include:
Recruitment Operations

Office Management with compliance exposure
Business Support / Operations
Previous recruitment experience isn't essential, but experience working in recruitment operations, compliance or administration would be particularly relevant.
You'll need to be:
