We are currently seeking Occupational Therapist to join our Residential Aged Care team.
This is shared role across our
Guildford Village and Midland Nursing Home
facilities.
You will be led by a supportive management team and work closely with a team of like-minded individuals at the facility who share common goals.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assess residents' Occupational Therapy needs and identify opportunities to maximise independence.
Develop and implement person-centred therapy plans and interventions.
Review and evaluate care plans to ensure positive resident outcomes.




Monitor resident progress and measure the effectiveness of interventions.
Support residents with behaviours of concern and maintain associated documentation.
Collaborate with care teams to deliver high-quality, holistic resident care.
Skills, Attributes and Experience
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to build and deliver person-centered care that values the choice of the client.
They will have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships with their clients.
They will also demonstrate a commitment to being a productive and positive team player at the facility, and in creating a homely, healthy and happy atmosphere.
Key Criteria Includes:
Holding a relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience working within residential aged care will be highly regarded but is not essential
Experience in behavioural support and dementia care highly regarded
