RAC Finance (RACF) specialise in market leading finance products and services ranging from personal loans, investment notes and property development finance loans.
We are looking for someone to join us in a Casual position as a Personal Finance Assistant.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing successful personal loan applications and ensuring member service levels and responsible lending decisions are made within credit policy/procedures and targets.
About the role
Proactively keep members informed of loan progress, outcomes and complete follow up calls to progress loan applications to settlement.
Analysing all data and complete necessary credit assessment checks, to ensure an acceptable level of risk, complying with all legislative requirements including the National Credit Code.
Analysing and verifying supporting loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Input of data into core systems ensuring accurate record keeping is maintained.
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to ongoing continuous improvement and process enhancements.
What will you bring to the role
Previous loan preparation experience is required (banking or finance industry experience preferred).




Experience in a customer service role (face to face or in a contact centre environment).
Strong communication skills.
Sound understanding of the national credit code, responsible lending obligations and Privacy Act.
