Senior Designer – Womenswear Location: Sydney Head Office Role Type: Full-Time We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Senior Designer to lead the development of collections across the business's brands, including the mainline range and swimwear.
You will play a key role in driving the design process from initial concept through to SMS and final sign-off.

We offer A competitive salary Generous clothing allowance A creative and collaborative team culture Centrally located office, 5-minute walk from the station Key Responsibilities Lead seasonal research across trends, colours, silhouettes, fabrications, prints and key market direction Collaborate with the design and sales teams to shape seasonal concepts, mood boards and overarching range direction Source and select fabrics, trims, print bases and materials that support the product objective Manage print recolouring, lab dips, fabric sourcing packs and related development details Produce CAD technical drawings for tech packs, range boards and internal presentations Prepare detailed design tech packs,



factory instructions and measurement specification sheets Work closely with production and sales to manage product margins and support first-margin targets Attend fit sessions with the garment technician from first sample through to final sample approval Present completed SMS ranges, costings and key product call-outs to stakeholders for approval and sign-off Prepare and assist with final range presentations for senior management, including collection overview, collection name, key selling features and hero pieces Collaborate with marketing on seasonal campaign shoots, lookbook shoots and product storytelling Provide graphic and layout support for final range books, image editing and sales or marketing assets as required About You You are a confident and commercially aware designer with strong trend instincts, technical knowledge and a clear understanding of the contemporary womenswear customer.
You ideally have: A tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or a related field 5+ years' experience in a similar womenswear design role Experience in designing women's swimwear Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop A comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fabrication, fit, tech packs and product development Strong CAD and technical drawing skills Experience preparing factory-ready tech packs and measurement specification sheets A strong commercial eye and ability to interpret trends into brand-appropriate, sellable product An understanding of price architecture, margin considerations and wholesale fashion would be highly regarded
