Property/ Strata risks Help Shape Build the business Excellent Salary package Bonus A newly established underwriting agency is building its Sydney team and is seeking a Senior Strata Underwriter to play a key role in shaping its strata portfolio from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up underwriting agency at an early stage — helping build broker relationships, define underwriting appetite, and grow a book in one of the most active corners of the Australian insurance market.
The Role Underwrite a portfolio of Residential Commercial Strata risks, applying solid technical judgement across pricing, terms and risk selection Build and manage relationships with brokers and strata managers nationally Represent the agency at industry events,



broker meetings and within the wider strata community Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and appetite as the agency scales Work closely with leadership to help shape the direction of the strata book About You Proven experience underwriting Property and/or large Strata risk Strong technical underwriting skills with sound commercial judgement Genuine enjoyment of broker engagement, relationship-building and networking Established relationships within the Strata / Broker community highly regarded Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving start-up environment Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset — this is a chance to build something, not just administer an existing book Why This Role Ground-floor opportunity with a new underwriting agency, with strong backing.
