The Role

Reporting into our technology team, this role will play a key part in building and maintaining our next-generation data platform.
n
You will design, develop and optimise data pipelines across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, helping teams across Lite n' Easy make faster, more confident decisions using trusted data.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, build and maintain reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, including Fabric Pipelines, Data Factory and related cloud analytics tools.
n
Structure data within Microsoft OneLake/Lakehouse environments, transforming raw operational data into clean, usable reporting layers.
n




Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop high-performing data models and datasets for Power BI reporting.
n
Implement data quality checks, validation processes and monitoring to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and trusted.
n
Support data governance, security and workspace management practices across the Microsoft Fabric environment.

About You
n
A confident collaborator who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders and wants to make a difference .... And get noticed!

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or the Microsoft data stack, such as Lakehouse, Warehouses, Azure Synapse, Data Factory or Fabric Pipelines.
n
Strong SQL skills with the ability to transform, optimise and manage complex datasets.
n
Experience using Python and/or PySpark for data engineering, transformation or notebook-based workflows.
n
Sound understanding of Power BI, semantic modelling, star schema design and reporting performance considerations.
n
A collaborative communication style, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
n

Candidates must have full work rights in Australia – Australian Citizen or New Zealand Citizen.
