Key responsibilities
Leading a team of engineers and specialists, and operating under delegated technical authority, you'll apply a corridor-wide engineering lens to ensure assets interact safely, reliably and sustainably across modes.
You'll provide authoritative guidance on the development, maintenance and application of standards and specifications, ensuring that asset interactions, operational performance and lifecycle outcomes are optimised.
You'll represent Transport for NSW in cross-modal forums and contribute to harmonisation initiatives that strengthen technical governance and capability across the network.
You'll champion a corridor-wide mindset that brings together hydrology, drainage, pavements and associated infrastructure to inform evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement and operational efficiency.




What you need
You bring extensive experience in corridor infrastructure or comparable multi-modal transport environments, with a proven ability to provide strategic oversight across interacting asset classes such as roads, rail, drainage and pavement systems.
You have experience developing professional standards, specifications, guidelines or governance frameworks, and a solid record in applying technical knowledge in an integrated, lifecycle outcomes-focused manner that optimise safety, reliability and cost outcomes.
You hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant technical discipline, engineering registration, and experience leading technical teams.
