nJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 25-bed acute inpatient psychiatry unit. You will be part of a team providing exceptional care to patients presenting with acute psychosis, including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal and homicidal ideation, and dual diagnosis.n
n
nAs a Registered Nurse, you will be trained to charge nurse responsibilities and may float to similar units within the hospital. The role requires active participation in treatments and patient care, with various responsibilities including medication administration, patient rounding, and conducting therapeutic groups.n
n
nResponsibilitiesn

nOversee patient admissions and manage care for patients during your shift.n
n
nAdminister medications and perform patient assessments.n
n
nParticipate in patient rounding and take vital signs.n
n
nFacilitate therapeutic groups and assist in providing patient care.n
n
nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensuren
n
nValid State RN License.n
n
nBLS Certification required.n
n
nPrevious experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.n
n
nCompletion of COVID-19 vaccine and necessary immunizations.n
n
