Our client is a leading Australian construction materials company, supplying cement and other essential products that support major infrastructure and construction projects across Australia.
n
They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their maintenance team and contribute to the safe and reliable operation of their cement manufacturing facility.
n
About the Role:
n
The position will involve all aspects of mechanical work on site, including:
n
n
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment
n
Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical faults
n
Install, dismantle, align and maintain mechanical equipment
n
Work on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, crushers and other heavy industrial equipment
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
n
Carry out planned maintenance activities to a high standard
n
Assist with equipment upgrades, shutdowns and improvement projects
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records
n




Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Certificate III or IV in Engineering - Mechanical Fitting
n
Previous experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, mining or a similar environment
n
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
Full working rights in Australia
