About the role:
Do you want to provide clinical and administrative assistance and support to Allied Health Professionals (including Social Work, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology) to ensure the delivery of a high-quality mental health care in the general inpatient setting?
We want you to work within the Allied Health team at The Melbourne Clinic.

The Melbourne Clinic, situated in Richmond, Victoria, is Australia's largest private mental health service, providing a variety of recovery focussed inpatient and outpatient programs that are tailored to meet the needs of people with a range of mental health conditions.
The Melbourne Clinic offers inpatient, outpatient (Day Program) and outreach services.

Key Responsibilities:
Working on the general inpatient psychiatry ward
Support members of the Allied Health team across multiple disciplines (Social Work, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology) to provide a high standard of clinical and administrative care to patients, including;
Triaging allied health referrals
Liaising with external agencies, with regards to care
Group intervention delivery and set up
Assisting with the production of allied health resources
Supporting discharge planning
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
Highly Desired Criteria:
Experience working in an inpatient mental health hospital environment
Experience in or intertest in psychiatric care
Experience facilitating group programs
High degree of organisation and administrative skills
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.




Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively to complete activities
