As a Casual Educator, you will work alongside our dedicated team to provide high-quality care and education while supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
A Day in the Life of a Casual Educator
Provide high-quality care and education for children across our learning environments.
Build positive, respectful, and nurturing relationships with children, families, and team members.
Support play-based learning experiences in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Encourage children's independence, confidence, curiosity, and social development.
Maintain a safe, clean, engaging, and welcoming workplace.
Follow all centre policies and procedures, including supervision and child safety requirements.
Observe and support children's learning and development.
Assist with daily routines including meals, rest times, toileting, and transitions.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and supportive centre culture.
Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare's philosophy and values.
Adapt to different rooms and routines as required.

What We're Looking For
Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA approved) or currently working towards a qualification.
Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Understanding of early childhood legislation, standards, and quality frameworks.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.




Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Completed Child Safety Training certificate.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
A versatile and reliable approach to working across different days and rooms.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and confidently adapt to changing daily needs.
Completion ofChild Safety Courses 1 & 2(mandatory), Courses 3 & 4highly regarded.
