It also seeks to reduce the incidence of serious injury resulting from road crashes.Road Safety manages Victoria's road safety camera network and is a representative for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) in Victoria's road safety partnership.
Road Safety contributes to this partnership in the operation of road safety cameras, and the policy and strategic directions of the broader road safety enforcement.
Road Safety is accountable to the Minister for Police.What you will doAs Senior Commercial and Contracts Adviser, you will provide legal and commercial advice.
You will help senior leaders make sound and timely decisions.You will:lead clear advice on road safety camera laws, policies and regulationslead expert advice for tenders, procurement, contracts and contract changesprovide sound commercial and contractual advice to senior leaders and ministerswrite high-quality reports, briefings, policies and presentations for senior audiencesidentify emerging legal and commercial risks and develop practical ways to manage them.About youYou must have a bachelor's degree in law and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate under the Legal Profession Act **** (Vic).
You will bring strong contract and procurement skills, with sound legal judgement.
You will need to work well with lawyers,
