About therole:
We areseeking Survey Assistants on a permanent full-time basis, DIDO from Sydney orNewcastle.
In this role you will assist SeniorSurveyors in carrying out a variety of survey works, ensuring outcomes aredelivered to the required scope, schedule and standard.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the setup of surveyinstrumentation and onsite preparation for projects
Assist with survey instrumentationmaintenance and configuration of equipment as directed
Assist with the capture of fielddata as directed by lead surveyor




Ensure survey and compliancechecklists are completed and correctly recorded
Assist with processing of fielddata as directed by lead surveyor
Demonstrate a commitment to WHSEQand the assessment and management of health and safety risk that isconsistent with Group WHSEQ policy, procedures, roles and responsibilities
Other duties and accountabilitiesas reasonably required and directed
Keyrequirements:
CertificateII in surveying, spatial science or similar (desirable)
Validdriver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites
Demonstratedability to work effectively as part of a team
Goodwritten and verbal communication skills
