Civil Supervisor – Hughenden Roadworks Project We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for a 3 month flood recovery and road maintenance project based in Hughenden.
This role will oversee day-to-day civil works, coordinate plant operators and site activities, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
The Role You will be responsible for: Supervising day-to-day road maintenance and flood recovery works Coordinating plant operators, labour and site activities Allocating daily tasks and ensuring crews are working efficiently Monitoring productivity, quality and project progress Conducting and participating in pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site safety activities Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures Identifying and resolving operational issues to minimise delays Liaising with council representatives, contractors and other stakeholders Coordinating plant, materials and resources across the project Maintaining accurate site records, timesheets and relevant documentation Supporting crews across roadworks, drainage,



earthworks and general civil activities What Is on Offer 3 month project 5/2 roster Standard 8.5-hour working days Reasonable overtime as required Potential weekend work Competitive hourly rate plus applicable penalties Accommodation supplied in Hughenden Meal allowance Travel arrangements supported Council vehicles supplied for work-related travel once on site About You To be considered, you will ideally have: Previous experience supervising civil construction or road maintenance crews Strong background in roadworks, flood recovery, earthworks or local government projects Experience coordinating plant operators and multi-skilled crews Strong understanding of WHS, SWMS, toolbox meetings and site safety requirements Ability to read plans, coordinate daily works and manage priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to liaise confidently with clients, contractors and project stakeholders Construction White Card Relevant civil construction qualifications or plant competencies highly regarded HR licence or plant operating experience advantageous Availability to commit to the project duration This role would suit a hands-on Civil Supervisor who is comfortable working in a regional setting and can keep crews organised, productive and focused on safe project delivery.
