Brisbane CBD | 18-month fixed-term opportunity End-to-end weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll Attractive remuneration | Established ASX-listed organisation The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Australian payroll professional who enjoys working in a high-volume environment, solving complex payroll matters and providing trusted support to employees and leaders.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant and efficient payroll operations across the organisation.
What You'll Do Process end-to-end weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements, Awards and Australian payroll legislation to complex employee entitlements.
Manage payroll tax, workers compensation, superannuation, reconciliations and reporting.
Resolve complex payroll queries and build strong relationships with employees, leaders, HR and Finance.
Drive payroll process improvements and maintain accurate employee data across payroll/ERP systems, with SAP highly desirable.
About You We're looking for an experienced payroll professional who can confidently step into a senior role and take ownership of complex payroll activities.
You'll ideally have:



5+ years' senior payroll experience in a large, high-volume Australian payroll setting.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, compliance, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Proven experience with end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll tax, workers compensation and superannuation.
Strong attention to detail, reconciliation, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
SAP experience highly desirable and Certificate III/IV in Financial Services advantageous.
