MAYDAY is currently partnering with a well-established organisation in South East Melbourne to recruit a Payroll Officer for a 3-month temporary assignment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join an established and collaborative payroll function supporting a high-volume workforce.
You'll play an important role in the day-to-day payroll operation, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
About the Role This is a hands-on Payroll Officer position supporting a busy, high-volume payroll function.
You'll be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time, while providing support across day-to-day payroll queries and administration.
3-month temporary assignment with an immediate start Join an established, cooperative and high-volume payroll environment Process end-to-end payroll accurately and efficiently within tight deadlines Manage employee payroll queries and provide timely support Ensure payroll data is accurate and maintained across the payroll system Assist with payroll reconciliations,



reporting and general payroll administration Work across an established payroll system — systems experience is flexible Support the wider payroll team with day-to-day priorities and deadlines Skills Experience We're looking for a capable and reliable Payroll Officer who can step into a busy environment and hit the ground running.
