Job Description
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will be involved in the day-to-day production of precast concrete products.
You will work as part of the production team to ensure products are made safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating production equipment, hand tools and power tools
Assisting with mould assembly and stripping
Facing and finishing concrete products
Lubricating and maintaining moulds
Carrying out basic quality checks and reporting any issues
Maintaining clean and tidy work areas and equipment
Following safe manual handling practices
Assisting with production targets and maintaining plant efficiency
Reporting safety, quality, environmental and production issues
Assisting with minor repairs where trained and competent
Working with Leading Hands and the Production Manager as required
Following company WHS,



Quality and Environmental procedures
Taking part in continuous improvement activities

About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
Is reliable, practical and willing to get hands-on
Can work well as part of a team
Can follow instructions and work with routine supervision
Takes pride in the quality of their work
Has a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Is physically capable of working in a production setting
Holds a current driver's licence
Has a forklift licence or experience operating a forklift
(desirable)
Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, precast concrete or a similar environment will be highly regarded
