Investment Analyst/Associate - Global Private Credit (Sydney)
Our client is a leading global private credit fund, backed by some of the largest global pools of institutional capital. The team writes financing solutions for middle-market and large-cap sponsors and corporates across leveraged buyouts, growth, refinancings and recapitalisations, investing sector-agnostically. Deals are typically $200mio+ though the team retains the flexibility to pursue smaller high-conviction opportunities.
The Business

Key Responsibilities
Conducting detailed business due diligence and evaluating opportunities to form a recommendation to senior members of the team
Building financial models and undertaking detailed valuation analysis for new and existing investments
Negotiating documentation with counterparties
Preparing and presenting materials to the investment committee
Engaging directly with management teams and key stakeholders
Monitoring the portfolio and broader sector trends
The Ideal Candidate




1-5 years' experience in direct investment (private credit, private equity or infrastructure) or in leveraged finance, M&A; or direct investments at a top-tier investment bank
Excellent modelling and quantitative ability
Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable forming and presenting a view
Genuinely passionate about investing and eager to learn
Able to run multiple live processes at once, proactive with sound judgement
A team player with a robust work ethic
