An established and growing commercial construction and fit-out business is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their Brisbane team. Based in Bowen Hills office, this is a senior opportunity for an estimator who has a strong track record across large-scale new build projects, ideally within the commercial and retail sectors. You'll be working across projects valued at $20m+, taking ownership of the estimating and tendering process and working closely with the wider pre-construction and project teams.
About You
Strong experience estimating $20m+ new build projects
A solid commercial construction background
Retail project experience highly regarded
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, costs and subcontractor markets
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tenders
Strong communication and negotiation skills




The ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team
The Role
Prepare and manage detailed tenders for $20m+ new build projects
Review project plans, specifications, scopes and documentation to develop accurate estimates
Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing throughout the tender process
Identify project risks, cost opportunities and value-engineering options
Work closely with the pre-construction, design and delivery teams to ensure projects are accurately costed
Assist with tender presentations, negotiations and handover to the project team
