About the Role
We are seeking a full-time temporary Accounts Payable Officer for a *****-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity to provide parental leave cover (Dates tbc Nov/Dec **** through to Jan/Feb ****.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable function.
This hands‐on role is suited to a highly organised and detail‐oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment.
You will bring a proactive mindset, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a willingness to contribute to the success of a cooperative and entrepreneurial team.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor queries
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs
Perform weekly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain vendor master data, including validation of vendor information and bank detail changes
Review, code and reconcile corporate credit card transactions, employee expenses and petty cash claims
Support month end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliations
Assist the finance team with accounts payable cashflow forecasting
Contribute to the annual audit, including liaison with auditors




Deliver ad hoc analysis and provide ongoing support to the Finance Manager and broader finance team
Must‐have
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
Good reconciliation and analytical problem‐solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Nice-to-have experience
Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP Concur
Understanding of GST compliance and financial controls
Commercial experience in retail is highly regarded

Base salary + super + bonus potential
Hybrid Working:Three days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) from our Australian Support Office at Chadstone Shopping Centre, with flexibility to work from home on remaining days.
