We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Picker Packer to join our steel processing and distribution team.
n
About the Role
n
The successful applicant will be responsible for picking, stacking and packing steel profile-cut plates after they are processed through our profile cutting machines.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Safely remove profile-cut steel plates from the cutting machine bed.
n
Use an overhead crane to lift and position steel plates.
n
Stack and organise plates neatly onto pallets.
n
Check quantities and job identification before packing.
n
Ensure finished jobs are correctly prepared for dispatch.
n
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
n
Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
n
Assist the production team with general workshop duties when required.
n
Skills & Requirements
n
Current Forklift Licence – essential.
n
Experience working with steel, metal or a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
n
Experience using an overhead crane is preferred.
n
Physically fit and comfortable handling steel products.
n




Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Previous experience in picking, packing or steel distribution will be highly regarded.
n
