The role
Due to continued expansion and significant development activity across Australia and North America (amongst other jurisdictions) this company is seeking a
Senior Legal Counsel – Projects & Construction
to support its expanding portfolio of large-scale infrastructure projects.
This is a core infrastructure role, advising on complex, capital-intensive developments at the intersection of energy, technology and construction.
You will report to the Head of Legal - Construction and work closely with other lawyers across the business and the commercial team in Australia and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and negotiate major construction and infrastructure contracts, including:
EPC, D&C; and bespoke construction agreements;
Consultant and supply agreements;




Equipment procurement and critical infrastructure supply arrangements;
Manage external counsel in Australia, Europe and North America; and
Partner closely with development, engineering, procurement and executive teams.
Ideal Candidate
8+ years' PQE from a leading infrastructure/construction practice in Sydney. Our client is open to those in both private practice and in house.
Strong experience in major projects, construction and infrastructure development.
Exposure to energy sector or other capital-intensive projects highly regarded.
Interested in being embedded in a global infrastructure business at the forefront of AI.
