About the Role
We're looking for a Head of Lending who brings stronglending expertise and a genuine commitment to client service together withcoaching and developing people.
You'll lead a small team of brokers, own end toend lending operations and partner with our advisory teams to convert internalreferrals and generate new leads — while shaping a positive team culture thatdelivers exceptional client outcomes.
This role can be based in our Sydney, Newcastle, or Brisbaneoffices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support a team of lendingprofessionals to achieve individual and team success.
Drive business growth through clientacquisition, referral partnerships and lead generation initiatives.
Manage complexlending cases and maintain high-quality client relationships.
Provide strategic guidance on residential andcommercial lending solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with clients,referrers and key lending partners.




Ensure compliance with industry regulations,lender requirements and best practice standards.
Foster a positive, collaborative andhigh-performing team culture.
Identify opportunities for innovation andcontinuous improvement within the lending function.
Partner with Tax,Business Advisory and Wealth teams to grow the pipeline and share wins acrossthe firm.
Utilise a strongbackground in BD to establish relationship networks and recent lead generation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
CertificateIV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (or equivalent).
CurrentMFAA or FBAA membership and active broker registration.
Minimum5 years' experience in lending or mortgage broking.
Demonstratedexperience leading, coaching and developing people.
Strongtechnical lending knowledge across a broad range of lending products.
Acommercial mindset with a focus on sustainable business growth.
Highethical standards and a commitment to delivering outstanding clientoutcomes.
Acollaborative leadership style that prioritises team development,wellbeing and success.
Aproactive approach to business development, lead generation and innovationwithin the lending industry.
