This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Registered Nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, driving clinical excellence, and supporting the development of their colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment.About the RoleAs a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide advanced clinical care and leadership within the clinical area.
The CNS supports staff development through bedside teaching, coaching, and role modelling.
Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in promoting best practice, mentoring nursing staff, and contributing to positive patient outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred careProviding clinical leadership and support to nursing teamsActing as a resource and mentor for junior staffSupporting quality improvement and accreditation activitiesPromoting evidence-based practice and continuous learningCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseMinimum 4 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting with 3 years working within the relevant speciality field.Relevant clinical experience in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, ENT and/or PaediatricsDemonstrated advanced clinical assessment and decision-making skillsStrong communication,
