From the quiet hum of a perfectly working room to the smooth rhythm behind every guest experience, our Engineering colleagues help bring the hotel to life.We're looking for an Assistant Manager – Engineering to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance and presentation of our hotel.
You'll lead with calm confidence, solve problems before they become disruptions and help create an environment where guests and colleagues feel comfortable, safe and well cared for.What You'll DoSupport the Engineering Manager with daily operations, maintenance and preventative maintenance programsLead and guide the Engineering team across shiftsCoordinate repairs, inspections and contractor activitiesRespond promptly to guest and operational requestsMonitor building services, plant equipment and hotel systemsMaintain accurate records,



reports and maintenance schedulesPromote safe work practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsWork closely with every department to keep the hotel running beautifullyWhat you'll bringPrevious experience in hotel engineering, facilities or building servicesExperience leading or supervising a teamStrong knowledge of preventative maintenance and building operationsA practical, solutions-focused approachClear communication and excellent organisationThe ability to remain composed and responsive in a quick-paced environmentRelevant technical qualifications or trade backgroundA genuine interest in hospitality and the guest experienceMust already have ongoing and current working rights for AustraliaWhy Andaz Gold Coast?
