Spatial Services' integrated framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive package of land and property services including property information, surveying and mapping.
Spatial Services provides land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies and non-profit organisations throughout NSW, Australia and internationally.
About the roleAs a Geodetic Surveyor you will be responsible for the collection, processing, integration, and delivery of survey control data.
You will support the establishment and maintenance of survey control infrastructure and coordinate reference frames as part of the statutory functions of the Surveyor-General.
You will engage with users of survey infrastructure to provide expert technical and policy advice on matters related to survey control design, observation methodologies, processing techniques, POSI and cadastral boundary surveys.The ideal candidate will have: Proven ability to lead survey partiesDemonstrated experience as a surveyor with knowledge of cadastral, geodetic surveying and current positioning technologiesThe ability to implement and monitor compliance with Work Health and Safety policy and practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to represent OSG at industry forums and eventsThe ability to be adaptable and adaptable to both a changing workplace as well as prioritiesThe ability to solve problems and collaborate with others toward a common visionWe can't wait to meet you If this role sounds like you, you can apply by clicking the apply button - it's a simple online process.
