The Role
This is a new opportunity for a practitioner with between 2-8 years' PQE to join our fast paced, growing and highly regarded Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team in Melbourne.
Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will advise on a broad range of insolvency and commercial dispute matters.
The work is both challenging and rewarding, and our growing team has a high-performing, inclusive and learning-oriented culture.
You will gain exposure to complex and diverse work, including:
Corporate and personal insolvency matters
Bankruptcy and liquidation disputes
Enforcement and debt recovery proceedings
Restructuring and insolvency-related advice




Commercial and contractual disputes
Shareholder and director disputes
Court appearances and advocacy opportunities
Who We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
2-8 years' post admission experience
Experience in insolvency, commercial litigation, restructuring, bankruptcy or disputes work
Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice
The ability to manage matters with appropriate supervision and work effectively as part of a team
