We're seeking clinicians with skin cancer screening experience to join a government-funded screening program delivering vital community health services across South East Queensland.What's on Offer?
Competitive hourly rates of $170-$200 per hourFlexible engagement options - ABN or PAYG2-3 days per week throughout October and NovemberOpportunity to be part of a large-scale government health initiativeDiverse clinic locations across QueenslandAbout the RoleWorking within established screening clinics, you will conduct skin cancer assessments and identify suspicious lesions requiring further investigation or treatment.Clinic hours are typically 8:00am-5:00pm, with patient appointments generally running from 8:30am-4:30pm.Most clinics see approximately 28 patients per day (15-minute appointments),



with some high-volume clinics seeing up to 40 patients per day (10-minute appointments) where administrative support is available.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive skin cancer screening consultationsPerform full-body skin examinations using a dermatoscopeAssess, identify and document suspicious lesionsProvide recommendations and referral pathways where requiredMaintain accurate clinical records and documentationFollow program protocols and clinical governance requirementsAssist with clinic setup and pack downAbout YouCurrent AHPRA registrationVR GP, GR GP or Medical OfficerDemonstrated experience in skin cancer screening and assessmentConfident use of a dermatoscope (own equipment required)Excellent communication and clinical assessment skillsAbility to travel between clinic locations as requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking adaptable work while contributing to a meaningful public health program.
