Please note this position is eligible for a Multi Disciplinary AllowanceThe TeamThe Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service is a tertiary level service which delivers mental health interventions to mothers experiencing mental health issues in the perinatal and postnatal period, as well as their infants.Statewide Mental Health Services | Tasmanian Department of HealthsmooThe RoleAs a senior member of the multidisciplinary Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (PIMH) team, you will deliver specialist mental health assessment, care and support to women, infants and their families.
You will play a key role in managing complex cases, coordinating care, and leading service improvements that enhance outcomes for mothers and infants.
Working collaboratively across services, you will promote positive maternal mental health and strengthen early parent–infant relationships.You will needDemonstrated experience in mental health nursing, ideally within perinatal, infant, or child and adolescent servicesStrong clinical assessment and case management skills for complex mental health presentationsExcellent communication and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholdersNote: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointmentFixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 6 months.notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time,
