Are you an experienced people leader who enjoys bringing people together, improving services and creating positive outcomes for the community?
An established not-for-profit organisation is looking for an Area Manager to take the lead across a well-performing community care service on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where your leadership will have a direct impact supporting a dedicated team while ensuring older people receive the quality care and support, they need to continue living independently at home.
The Opportunity
Reporting to a seasoned Regional Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall operational performance of the service.
You'll work alongside an experienced leadership team, providing direction, accountability and support while ensuring the service continues to deliver excellent outcomes for clients, employees and the organisation.
Your focus will include:
Leading and developing the service leadership teamMaintaining strong operational and financial performanceMonitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvementSupporting sustainable service growthBuilding a positive and engaged workplace cultureEnsuring clients receive safe, consistent and person-centred supportPartnering with senior leaders to implement business and service initiativesIdentifying practical ways to improve processes, performance and client outcomes

What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced operational leader who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and leading through a busy service environment.
Ideally, you'll bring:
5+ years of leadership experienceA background inhealthcare, NDIS, community services or a related environmentExperience overseeing operational performance and working towards measurable KPIsStrong commercial and business acumenA demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop managers and teams Confidence managing competing priorities within a high-volume setting A practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges and continuous improvement Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders
Experience specifically within aged care is welcome, but it is not essential.What matters most is your leadership capability, operational experience and genuine commitment to delivering quality services.
