Venue Manager – Kingston HotelKingston Hotel is looking for an experienced, hands‐on leader to join us asVenue Manager – Kingston HotelKingston Hotel is looking for an experienced, hands‐on leader to join us as Venue Manager, in an ongoing role responsible for leading the venue and managing its day‐to‐day operations — service, presentation, stock, safety, compliance, rosters and performance.Alongside running the floor, you'll also mentor and develop our existing Duty Managers and supervisors, helping to lift leadership standards across the venue.

taking full ownership of how the venue runsMaintain strong operational standards across service, presentation, stock control, safety and complianceManage rosters, labour, costs and venue performance in a way that supports both the team and the businessTake ownership of people leadership across the venue, including team development, performance conversations, onboarding and creating a positive cultureBe a visible and hands‐on leader, particularly across weekends and evenings when the venue is at its busiestBuild strong local relationships and strengthen the venue's connection to its communityWork closely with the wider leadership team to align the venue with company values, standards and business goalsMentor and coach the current management team — including Duty Managers and supervisors — to build their confidence, capability and readiness for ongoing leadershipWork with existing leaders to embed consistent processes, standards and decision‐making so improvements are sustained and built upon over timeProvide regular feedback to HR and leadership on team progress and developmentWhat you will bringProven Venue Manager experience, with a track record of running a hospitality venue successfullyStrong operational capability and the confidence to manage a venue day to day, including rosters, cost control, compliance and performanceA leadership style that reflects our values of Community, Growth, Honesty and RespectA genuine interest in coaching and developing others alongside running the floorConfidence to assess team capability honestly and build tailored development plansStrong communication skills and comfort working closely with HR and senior leadershipA willingness to work weekends and evenings as part of the rolePlease note applications will be assessed as received.
