Assist with developing and planning all marine and land-based activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, island tours, and cultural experiencesEnsure the safety and well-being of team members and guests by enforcing safety regulations and maintaining well-functioning equipment and facilitiesHelp with hiring, training, and supervising team members for marine and tourism activities, ensuring high-quality service and exceptional guest experiencesAssist with coordinating all tourism activities,



ensuring smooth operation and guest satisfactionSupport departmental budgets and implement marketing strategies to promote activities and achieve revenue targetsMore about youBachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, marine science, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in a similar role, assisting with activities in a hospitality or tourism settingStrong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations and protocolsAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a robust focus on customer serviceCertification in relevant marine and tourism activities, such as PADI Dive Master or Instructor, Coxswain Grade 1 or higher, First Aid and CPR, Manuel Drivers Licence, and other relevant certificationsThe application period will close on 04/10/2026, unless sufficient qualified candidates are identified sooner.Who we areLizard Island Resort is an exclusive retreat set within the pristine waters of the Great Barrier Reef, offering access to one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders.
