Their role is critical in providing a safe, aesthetically pleasing, hygienic and environmentally sound campus in a way that complies with relevant regulatory requirements and expectations of the University.They will provide a vital service to the occupants and visitors.
This will entail close liaison and communication with all levels of staff, students, visitors and contractors' supervision concerning events, cleaning, hygiene, grounds and Health & Safety.Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include;Supporting the Property Unit to ensure the presentation of public spaces and facilities for teaching, learning and collaboration meet the expectations, standards and needs of the University.Coordinating and participating in the preparation of classrooms for teaching and events, exhibitions and functions.Managing staff and contractor to achieve expected outcomesPlan and supervise the daily work schedule for approximately 2 direct reportsAbout YouAs the Senior Central Services Officer, you will have:Knowledge of commercial cleaning services, grounds services and commercial pest control servicesExtensive experience with event setups and office relocationsExperience in directing a small team and managing contractorsExposure to budget control,
