Female Residential Care Worker - Revesby SILRevesby | Supported Independent Living | SCHADS AwardSydney Health & Care Services (SHCS) is hiring a Casual Female Residential Support Worker to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team in the Sydney region - Revesby.This role will support behaviours of concern including verbal aggression, property damage and absconding.We're looking for calm, consistent and reliable workers who can follow support plans and routines closely, while delivering respectful, person-centred support.There is an opportunity to be hired as a Part Time Residential Support Worker at discretion of the hiring manager after 6 months of continuous employment and meeting all targets.Tuesday:*****am to 2pmWednesday: *****am to 2pmWe also require the worker to have flexibility between Monday to Friday 6am - 10pm to pick up additional shifts as required.What you'll be doingProviding in-home SIL supports (daily living, routines, prompting and personal care as required)Providing community participation supportsImplementing Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirementsUsing low-arousal communication and positive behaviour support approachesFollowing health and medication routines and safety protocolsCompleting progress notes and incident reports to a high standardSupporting community access when appropriateWorking within a consistent team with transparent escalation pathwaysWhat we're looking forSIL experience and/or experience supporting complex needsMust be comfortable with verbal and physical aggressionMust be familiar with Absconding behavioursProven use of BSPs,ABCreporting, incident management, and de-escalation frameworksCalm, emotionally regulated approach during escalationStrong routine-following, reliability and professionalismExcellent boundaries, confidentiality, and documentation skillsConfident communication and teamworkNDIS Worker Screening CheckFirst Aid & CPRDriver's LicenceMedication competency (or willingness to obtain)Availability across a 24/7 roster (including weekends and sleepovers as required)All employment conditions and classification are in line with the SCHADS Award(based on experience/qualifications).
