The Team

The Office of the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery (EDONM) is responsible for regional strategic priorities and projects for North West Hospitals and Primary Health Services. This includes workforce planning, centralised recruitment support, pathways to excellence and general project support.
The Role

This role is required to work across both the North West Regional and Mersey Community Hospitals, the successful Administrative Assistant will:
Manage and coordinate the provision of a complete range of efficient and effective office management support services targeted at supporting operational recruitment and employment management for the Recruitment Co-Operative to support Nurse and Midwifery Directors and Managers, ensuring sensitive and confidential handling of all enquiries.
Work as part of a team to utilising standardised and efficient administrative/ recruitment practices, using advanced recruitment system knowledge under the direction of the Team Leader Workforce Development and Project Nurse/Midwife.

You will need

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
The ability to build positive working relationships with a broad range of people.
Confidence using a range of computer systems and software applications.
Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Initiative, sound judgement, discretion, and a flexible approach to work.
Experience supporting rostering, leave management, recruitment, payroll, or workforce administration will be highly regarded.
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to a positive team environment.

Details of appointment

Multiple permanent, full time and part-time day worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight,



commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary

$76,849 to $82,996 pro rata per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance withPublic Sector Unions Wages Agreement ****
