Food & Beverage Attendant – Cafe Vicini
Cafe Vicini is looking for
friendly, energetic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendants
to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy café environment, providing warm and efficient service, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Cafe Vicini, you will be responsible for delivering friendly and professional service across the café.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
Taking food and beverage orders accurately
Providing attentive table and counter service
Serving coffee, food and beverages efficiently
Maintaining valuable knowledge of the menu, daily specials and beverage options
Assisting guests with menu selections and dietary enquiries
Communicating dietary requirements and special requests clearly
Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
Processing bills and payments accurately
Assisting with takeaway and dine-in orders
Supporting baristas and other team members during busy periods
Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café and service areas
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous café,
restaurant or hospitality experience
Has strong communication and customer service skills
Has a friendly, positive and professional attitude
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Is reliable, punctual and well presented
Has good attention to detail
Works well as part of a team
Is comfortable handling multiple tasks during busy service periods
Is available to work mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
Previous barista or coffee experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Requirements
Valid NSW RSA Certificate where required
Full Australian working rights
Previous hospitality experience preferred

Shifts will be available across weekdays, weekends and public holidays depending on business requirements and availability.
