Minchinbury Anglican Church is a growing multicultural church in Sydney’s western suburbs. Our vision is to see all people in multicultural western Sydney renewed through the love of Jesus Christ. Our mission, in line with this vision, and as outlined in the New Testament, is to make disciples and multiply communities who love Jesus and show Jesus’ love.

The Role

We are seeking to employ a part time (1 day) student minister to work alongside our existing ministry team in developing a priority of worship in our corporate gatherings and homes. Remuneration will be in line with the Sydney Anglican Diocese guidelines.

The Responsibilities

Depending on gifting and training goals, specific responsibilities may include:

- Band/Song Leading
- Service leading
- Preaching (if appropriate)
- Training others in Music Ministry

The Requirements

Character

- A loyal, humble, teachable, generous, and servant hearted follower of Jesus.
- Someone who is creative, cutting-edge,



and able to implement ideas.

Convictions
- Have theological convictions that are reformed and evangelical.
- Has a heart for multicultural ministry and mission.

Competency

- Have a clear understanding and ability to articulate the place of music (biblically & theologically) in corporate gatherings on a Sunday and at other times.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team context and inspire others in ministry.
- Good leadership, communication, and relational skills.
