The Company:

The Village on Blain is a privately owned accommodation complex with 720 units, a restaurant and a reservations office located in the rural hinterland of Central QLD in the town of Blackwater. (Population approx. 5,000 located 45mins from Emerald and 2hrs from Rockhampton).

The Role: Front of House Reservations

A full-time ongoing opportunity exists for a dedicated front office professional to join our current reception team, working with a broad range of people and organisations. Responsibilities include:

- Working to a high standard with Microsoft Office suite

- Operating a Reservations system (Experience highly regarded)

- Deal with all incoming phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner

- Meet and greet guests, visitors, and contractors

- Participate in relevant training

- Other duties as required and/or requested by management

- Full-time 40 hour week

Ideally, the successful applicant will possess the following knowledge and attributes:

- Previous experience in office administrative procedures

- Strong customer service skills, both face-to-face and phone





- Able to always demonstrate a qualified manner

- A team player with a can-do attitude

- Professional verbal/written communication and personal presentation

- Accurate with record keeping and data entry

- Sound computer skills, including use of spreadsheets

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a high-pressure workplace

- Able to work independently with confidence to liaise with guests

- Adaptable and flexible in a changeable work environment
