Our cocktail program is intentionally designed around rotating, theme-led menus exploring concepts such as alchemy, fermentation, and native botanicals. The department is led by Food & Beverage Director Tanguy Charbonnet (Australian Bartender of the Year 2025), the program is built on deep product knowledge, ongoing training, and a commitment to sustainability in every detail.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to support the leadership of Flaggerdoot and help deliver an exceptional, world-class guest experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and deliver exceptional, personalised guest experiences
- Support daily bar operations and service execution
- Assist with stock ordering, inventory management and cost control
- Manage guest requests and resolve service issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with service standards, RSA and venue policies




- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest journeys
- Lead by example with professionalism, energy and humility

About You:

- You are a confident hospitality skilled who thrives in high-end, fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Previous experience in a bar supervisory or assistant manager role
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails and contemporary bar techniques
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- A genuine passion for guest experience and attention to detail
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
